Training Committee
The training committee is responsible for the planning and execution of all activities associated with providing professional and support staff training. The committee:
- Provides training and professional development opportunities to the membership
- Researches and studies developments and trends in the financial aid profession to identify current training needs;
- Identifies location and develop schedules for training activities;
- Constructs an annual budget proposal for annual training needs;
- Collaborates with the conference committee to assist with training and development offerings;
- Coordinates with the website administrator to open online registration for training and events;
- Provides a quarterly report of activities to the secretary and president prior to Council meetings and an annual report prior to the annual meeting;
- Completes other duties as identified.
